Have you heard? Ross & Jamie teach a variety of classes, workshops and private lessons both online and in person.
Their teaching studio is Tiny Village Music, where you can sign up for private or group music lessons via Zoom, Skype or Facetime wherever you are. Full offerings are listed here.
In addition, they teach workshops and classes on the road periodically. Offerings are listed here, but custom offerings are also available to fit a classroom topic, theme or the setting and participants.
Ross has taught a 6-8 week ukulele class for older adults, Play the Ukulele!, with five groups of students in four locations in New Hampshire. When the pandemic hit in 2020, he pivoted to Zoom and currently teaches 3 classes (beginner, later beginner, and intermediate) in that format. Thanks to grant funding from Aroha, the in-person class was free to participants, who learned to play the ukulele while experiencing the positive community experience of attending a group class each week. As experienced teachers (we’ve got a combined 30+ years of teaching experience between us), we’re happy to teach as we travel. In addition to teaching music and theater classes, we’ve taught classes in music technology, painting, arts and crafts, dance and more. We’ve managed the activities program at a campground on the Outer Banks (Camp Hatteras), managed a recreation department at a KOA in Colorado (Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA) and have overseen or worked at about a dozen arts camps for several organizations in New Hampshire. Whether you need music for your preschool, your senior center or somewhere in between, we’d love to work with you!
